Cellular PVC
A foamed polyvinyl chloride material manufactured to mimic wood's workability while being completely rot-proof, insect-proof, and waterproof.
In Detail
Cellular PVC is created by expanding PVC with a foaming agent, producing a material with a cell structure similar to wood. It can be sawn, routed, drilled, and nailed with standard woodworking tools. Unlike solid PVC, cellular PVC holds screws and accepts paint. Common brands: AZEK, Versatex, Kleer, Royal.
