In Detail

Western Red Cedar (Thuja plicata) contains natural extractives (thujaplicins) that give it its distinctive aroma and decay resistance. It's dimensionally stable, lightweight, and takes stains and finishes exceptionally well. Common grades: Clear Heart, A-Clear, B-Clear, Select Tight Knot (STK). Used for siding, decking, fencing, shingles, and exterior trim.
